About the Indonesia eVISA

The Visa On Arrival (eVOA) and Tourist Visitor Visa are Electronic Visas for travelers who wish to visit the country for short-term stays. The Indonesia eVOA is a single-entry visa that allows a total stay of 30 days.

The Tourist Visitor Visa, on the other hand, allows a single-entry stay of 60 day. Both visas are valid to enter Indonesia for 90 days from the date of approval.

Both visas are granted through an online application system. It was introduced to simplify visa processes for citizens of eligible countries who want to travel for short-term stays.

Both visas can be obtained by completing a simple and straightforward online application form. Applicants must provide their personal details, travel information and passport data.

An approved Visa On Arrival or Tourist Visitor Visa can be used to enter the country at any of the designated border entry points in Indonesia, including 16 airports, 6 land crossings, and 91 seaports.

Documentation requirements for Indonesia eVISA

Applicants need to supply a digital JPG, PDF, JPEG, or PNG image of their passport biographical page (max size of 8 mb). The applicant's passport must be from an eligible country and valid for at least 6 months from the intended date of arrival.

They must also supply a passport-style photo in JPEG, JPG, or PNG format (max size of 8 mb), and have a valid/debit card to pay the visa fee.

If applying for the Tourist Visitor Visa, you also need a return ticket to upload proof of sufficient funds to cover the stay in Indonesia.

Once the applicant has submitted the online application, all notifications and updates will be sent by email.

The processing time is within 1 days, however, some applications may take longer to process, up to 2 days.

Online Application for the Indonesia eVISA

To apply online, applicants must have a valid passport, email address, and a credit or debit card. They must provide personal details, passport, and travel information (including the intended arrival and exit dates and the address they will stay in Indonesia) on the form.

All of the information provided on the application form, such as first and last names, place and date of birth, address, sex, passport number, and nationality, must be exactly as they appear on the applicant’s passport.
